The evening was a whirlwind of super fun, complete with lively performances, flowing drinks, and contagious laughter that illuminated the entire venue. Following the solemn puja rituals, the exchange of rings marked a significant turning point, leading to a night of ceaseless celebration.

The party continued unabated, with dancing and merriment lasting until the late hours, their feet moving to the rhythm until they could dance no more.

Maharashtrian wedding at IIT Bombay

Prashant & Antara had an amazing wedding under a tree at IIT Bombay. 

We had a chance to cover Prashant and Antara’s beautiful and colorful wedding in Powai, Mumbai. The first day of the festivities started with a vibrant haldi at Meluha The Fern. We saw very joyous yellow vibes, and no one was spared. The action was soon followed by a flower and water shower, and things turned out to be really epic and crazy. The evening was glitzy and glamorous as our dearest couple entered hand in hand for their sangeet, followed by some singing and dancing. The crowd was enthralled and it was indeed one beautiful evening of catching-ups, get-togethers, and new memories got made, along with cherishing old ones.

The wedding day was a beautiful one, it was a Maharashtrian wedding at IIT Bombay. Antara’s father is the Dean (R&D) of IIT Bombay and heads the mechanical engineering department of IIT Bombay. And therefore, it naturally just fell in their plans to consider IIT Bombay for the wedding. The IIT Bombay campus is a green heaven and nestles among the hills, flanked by Powai and Vihar Lakes. The aura at Prashant and Antara’s wedding was magical. The mandap was set under a tree and was spectacular in every way. Antara was excited, getting ready and donning a red kanjeevaram, and looking like a dream. Prashant complemented her in his cream sherwani. The entire day was beautiful, and a rightful reminder of the fact that day weddings are just the best for great photos. They also went out of the conventions, as they had woman priests officiating the wedding. We are thankful to be a part of this stunning occasion. Arvind and Keerthi’s wedding unfolded against the backdrop of the picturesque Ridhira Retreat, overlooking the mesmerizing and serene Osman Sagar Lake in Hyderabad. Join us as we take you through the unforgettable moments of Arvind & Keerthi’s multi-day extravaganza filled with vibrant pre-wedding ceremonies and a grand wedding ceremony.

  • Day 1 – Haldi, Holi, and Mehendi:

The pre-wedding celebrations kicked off with an explosion of colors and joy as Arvind and Keerthi’s families came together at the magnificent Mrugavani Resort, just a short 5-minute drive from Ridhira Retreat. The morning of the first day witnessed a harmonious blend of Haldi, Mehendi, and Holi ceremonies. The air was filled with laughter and excitement as everyone lovingly applied turmeric paste, intricate mehndi designs, and playfully showered vibrant colors on the soon-to-be-wed couple. It was a beautiful sight to behold and to capture, as everyone reveled in the festive spirit, creating memories that would last a lifetime.

 

 

  • Day 1 – Sangeet:

As the sun set, the energy reached its peak with the much-awaited ring & sangeet ceremony. Mrugavani’s lawn was transformed with twinkling and shimmering fairy lights and spherical lanterns. Friends and family showcased their hidden talents through eye-catching dance performances and melodious musical renditions. Arvind and Keerthi’s romantic duet left everyone awestruck, symbolizing their journey of love. The atmosphere was electric with love, joy, and unbridled enthusiasm, setting the stage for a grand celebration ahead.

 

  • Day 2 – Wedding:

The auspicious morning of the second day arrived, and with it came the most anticipated event – the wedding ceremony itself. We got some amazing portraits during the golden hour. Against the backdrop of Ridhira Retreat’s panoramic view of Osman Sagar Lake, Arvind, and Keerthi exchanged vows and promised to embark on a lifelong journey together. From their entries to the pheras and talambralu, the atmosphere was filled with excitement, blessings, and heartfelt emotions. The couple looked resplendent in their traditional attire. It was a privilege to witness and capture the essence of their beautiful union. The celebrations continued into the evening with a reception.

We had the absolute pleasure of documenting the mesmerizing wedding of Nikhita & Sreekar. The celebrations occurred at the picturesque Dream Valley Resort, providing an attractive backdrop for all the events. From the vibrant Mehendi ceremony to the heartwarming Haldi rituals, culminating in a captivating reception, every moment was a joy to capture. Nikhita & Sreekar’s wedding festivities commenced with the brisk and breezy Mehendi ceremony, beautifully adorned with shades of pink. Nikhita’s radiant smile, and intricate henna designs, complemented by her exquisite outfit from Taruni Clothing, and Sreekar’s joyous personality, made for some enchanting shots.

 

 

 

As the sun dipped, the couple and their loved ones came together for an unforgettable Sangeet night. The energy was palpable as everyone danced and celebrated in high spirits. Lavanya Reddy, a talented and enthusiastic dancer, had choreographed eye-catching and show-stopper performances for Nikhita & Sreekar.

 

 

 

Day 2 began with the sacred Haldi ceremony, where the couple, with their families and friends, celebrated in hues of yellow. The infectious atmosphere and aura of a Telugu haldi never fail to amaze us and we got to capture some best candid moments. Following the Haldi event, the traditional Pellikuturu ceremony took place.

 

 

 

Excitement was in the air as everyone prepared for the evening’s main event – the wedding. Against the setting of the earthy Dream Valley resort, the couple exchanged vows in an enthralling ceremony, surrounded by loved ones. The venue was transformed into a place of opulence and romance. The theme of the wedding was as such where conventional met contemporary. The graceful mandap with a green, pink, and white palette made a perfect backdrop for the photos and videos alike. Contrasting to the mandap, Nikhita wore a traditional red-gold saree, dressed as a Telugu-Andhra bride whereas Sreekar was dressed in a white Pattu Veshti and shirt as a Tamil groom. The ethereal ensembles by Kanakavalli brought an air of desi splendor to the occasion. The expert touch of Siro Makeup Studio ensured that Nikhita’s natural beauty shone through effortlessly.

 

 

 

The final day of the celebrations, held at Siara Retreat, was marked by a chic and smart reception, with a live clarinet performance adding a touch of sophistication.

 

We were thrilled to be a part of Nikhita and Sreekar’s alluring wedding journey. The pictures from their wedding truly radiate happiness and grace.

Mother’s Day is a time to celebrate and appreciate the love and sacrifices of mothers. We have had the privilege of capturing the beautiful moments of countless mothers on their son/daughter’s wedding day. We have seen the silent, warm, and beautiful moments of their unconditional love & support for their children. For us every time its Mother’s Day when we witness and get to document these beautiful moments full of love, happiness, care, and joy 🙂

On this special day, we want to take a moment to honor all the amazing mothers out there. From the late nights and early mornings to the tears, smiles, and laughter, “She” is the one who has been there through thick and thin. She is the one who makes silent sacrifices every single day just so you can have the best of everything. A mother is literally like our superhero.

The joy and pride that mothers feel on their son/daughter’s wedding day is overwhelming. It’s a bittersweet moment for them, as they are thrilled to see their child start a new chapter in their life but also sad to see them leave the home. Nevertheless, they put their own feelings aside and focus on making the day as special as possible. One of the most emotional moments of a wedding day is when the mother sees her son/daughter in their wedding attire for the first time. It’s a moment filled with so many emotions, it’s a reminder of the love and bond, the sacrifices that were made to get to that moment, and also the fact that children grow up so fast. To the mothers of the brides and grooms that we have had the pleasure of working with, we want to say a special thank you for entrusting us with capturing your son/daughter’s special day. It is an honor to be a part of such a momentous occasion and to witness a rollercoaster of emotions that a mother feels as she watches her son/daughter get married.

Rithvik & Lavanya’s Telugu wedding in Hyderabad

Lavanya-Rithvik’s Telugu wedding in Hyderabad was a beautiful one, filled with excitement, emotions, energy, and of course, amazing color palettes. We covered Rithvik’s sister Rishika’s wedding in Vishakhapatnam in the year 2019, it was an exhilarating feeling to be reuniting with the family again to cover Rithvik’s wedding 🙂

The wedding was made truly special by their story, which was one of gradual discovery and growth, culminating in a beautiful union that we felt excited to witness and capture on camera. It started when Lavanya and Rithvik met on an online dating platform and felt a spark. Their first meeting was promising, and they realized they had a lot in common. Over time, their relationship grew and evolved, with Lavanya bringing positivity and energy to Rithvik’s life.

The festivities began with the Sangeet at Prestige Nirvana Club, Hyderabad. The venue’s seamless fusion of greenery and symmetric patterns resulted in aesthetically pleasing pictures. Lavanya and Rithvik looked fabulous in their matching Lilac outfits. The mood was lively and upbeat, with family and friends joining in to celebrate the couple’s impending union, with their spectacular performances. Every performance was a treat to the eye and we just enjoyed capturing every moment of the evening. Lavanya and Rithvik looked radiant as they danced the night away, surrounded by loved ones who couldn’t wait to see them tie the knot.

 

The following day, the Haldi ceremony transpired. Lavanya’s ceremony came about at Ashiana Banquets, Hyderabad, while Rithvik’s unfolded at his house. The atmosphere was filled with fun and laughter as friends and family covered the couple in turmeric paste. The exuberant aura of a Telugu Haldi never fails to captivate us, and we cannot resist the allure of documenting lively celebrations through our lenses.

 

As the day wore on, the enchanting ambiance of Ashiana Banquets played host to Lavanya and Rithvik’s heartwarming wedding event. With the calm yet lively surroundings at the venue along with stunning decor highlighted by red-white palette flowers and fairy lights, we got some amazing photographs. Lavanya looked breathtakingly beautiful in a Telugu bridal saree, adorned with jewelry and intricate henna designs. Rithvik cut a striking figure in his traditional Telugu attire. The couples exchanged garlands and took vows in the presence of their loved ones.

 

As their photographer, it was a delight to capture their chemistry. From the playful banter during the Haldi occasion to the emotional moments of their big day, from Lavanya’s tears as she saw Rithvik step out of the car on the wedding day to the laughter and fun they shared during Talambralu, every experience we witnessed was unique in their own way. When looking through the pictures of their wedding, one could see the joy and love emanating from every frame.
