Yash & Shrishti : Wedding at Trident,Udaipur

Inspired by the timeless romance of “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani,Yash and Shrishti embarked on a journey to recreate the magic of the silver screen. Drawn to the grandeur and splendour depicted in the film’s portrayal of an opulent Indian wedding in Udaipur, they decided to infuse their celebration at Trident Hotel, Udaipur with echoes of that enchanting narrative.

Yash and Shrishti’s paths converged for the first time amidst the bustling excitement of NYU’s orientation. Shrishti’s initial impression of Yash painted him as a figure of quiet contemplation, someone who seemed content within the confines of his social circle, showing little inclination to reach out to others. However, fate had other plans for them.

Their journey toward friendship began with a simple request from Shrishti, seeking Yash’s guidance for a test. Little did she know that this seemingly ordinary interaction would unravel into something much more profound.
Yash’s proposal, meticulously crafted amidst the picturesque landscapes of Napa Valley, stood as a testament to his devotion. Surrounded by their nearest and dearest who had journeyed from all corners of the country.

Their wedding in Udaipur, held on the very dates that held significance to their love story, epitomized the essence of their shared dreams and aspirations. Amidst the regal palaces and resplendent surroundings, Yash and Shrishti exchanged vows, surrounded by the warmth and love of their cherished guests, marking the beginning of a lifetime of togetherness steeped in romance and adventure.

Wedding at Treat Resort, Gholvad

We covered the wedding of Capes India Co-Founder Dhruv Khandwala and it was a stunning affair.

Dhruv and Urja’s journey from a chance introduction to a beautiful wedding at Treat Resort Gholvad is a heartwarming tale of love. It all began with Shrey, Dhruv’s younger brother, playing the role of a matchmaker by introducing them.

Urja, seeking career guidance, found herself drawn not only to Dhruv but also to the warmth and charm of his family. The professional collaboration began when Urja decided to join their family business, Mermerize Jewellery & Capes India.

As they worked together on various projects, a bond deeper than professional camaraderie blossomed between Dhruv and Urja. However, like any great love story, an air of uncertainty surrounded the true nature of their feelings.

Finally, against the backdrop of Treat Resort Gholvad, surrounded by the scenic beauty and the love of their closest ones, Dhruv and Urja exchanged vows and embarked on a new chapter as a married couple.

Their wedding was a celebration of love, commitment, and the culmination of a story that had started with a simple introduction—the wedding festivities comprised of mehendi, sangeet, haldi and wedding. The highlight was our bride Urja opting for an off-white lehenga which made her look dreamy and special in every way.

Check out the photo set, which is vibrant and colourful in every way!

Wedding at Ayurvan Waterside, Hyderabad

Wedding at Ayurvan Waterside, Hyderabad

Wedding at Ayurvan Waterside, Hyderabad

Gujarati weddings are known for their grandeur, extravagance, and unique traditions that make them a celebration of a lifetime. Angira and Lou’s wedding festivities were spread across 3 days at different locations in Hyderabad. Guests flew in from all over the world to celebrate this joyous day. Angira and Lou’s story of how they met is a great example of how unexpected connections can lead to lifelong relationships. It’s incredible to think that they met at a career counselling session in grad school, where Lou was her counsellor. They struck up a conversation and from there, a beautiful love story began.

Let’s go in reverse order of functions which were the Wedding and Reception.

Day 3

Angira’s choice to wear her mother’s saree blouse along with her elegant pink and gold saree on her wedding day is a beautiful tribute to her family’s traditions and a way to honour her mother’s special day. The fact that both sisters chose to wear their mother’s saree blouse on their wedding day, in the same venue and three years apart, adds even more sentimental value to the garment.

After the joyful chaos of the Varmala ceremony, Angira made her way to where Lou was waiting for her. Lou’s eyes were filled with tears of happiness and anticipation as he stood at the Mandap ready to marry the love of his life. Soon after they got married following a traditional Gujarati ceremony. Angira and Lou’s decision to incorporate personalized vows into their Indian wedding ceremony is a beautiful way to make their special day more personal and meaningful.

Angira and Lou’s choice to have a live band, A26India, was a great way to keep the energy high and the guests entertained.

A26India’s performance of popular hits from the 90s and Bollywood songs made it impossible for anyone to resist the urge to dance, and the atmosphere was electric with excitement and joy. The Reception was a fun-filled extravaganza, filled with dancing, drinking, and partying that lasted well into the night.

Having a live band is a great way to create a fun and interactive environment at a wedding reception, as it allows the guests to feel like they are a part of the celebration. It also adds a personal touch to the event, as the couple can choose songs that are meaningful to them and their relationship.

The dance floor was packed with guests showing off their best moves to the band’s infectious tunes. The drinks flowed freely, with the bar serving up an array of cocktails, beers, and wines. The decorations were stunning, with fairy lights and flowers adorning the venue, giving it a romantic and enchanting ambience. As the night progressed, the energy in the room only intensified, with guests letting their hair down and truly enjoying themselves. It was a celebration of love and happiness, and everyone was there to share in the joy of the newlyweds. Overall, it was a night to remember – a perfect blend of fun, partying, and dance that made it an unforgettable wedding celebration.

Day 2

The festive atmosphere of the Haldi ceremony greeted everyone as they made their way in with bright decorations, music, and the scent of turmeric filled the air. This vibrant and lovely affair was a whole new experience for Lou’s friends and family. But soon, everyone got into the spirit of the ceremony, smearing Haldi paste on each other’s faces and clothes. His friends tore his shirt and decorated him like a doll. As the Haldi ceremony came to an end, the guests left with fond memories of this fun and unique experience, having learned more about the beautiful traditions and customs of Indian culture.

Later that evening, the Sangeet at Ayurvan Waterside was nothing short of a music and dance extravaganza. Lyrical, Mirthful and full of joie de vivre, the couple’s family and best friends put up a Bollywood Theme dance show as an ode to the couple. Towards the end of the night, family and friends let their wild side take over and had fun!

Day 1

The celebrations kicked off with a Dinner to welcome everyone especially guests from the West Coast. Padmaja Palm Grove was beautifully decorated with vibrant fabrics, candles, and lanterns creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. With a Sufi-themed night in store, the guests were in high spirits, laughing and chatting with each other, as they enjoyed the lively atmosphere. The atmosphere is electric, with guests laughing, cheering, and embracing the joy of the moment. The Live Band had the guests up on their feet clapping and dancing to the tunes and this night kicked off the wedding festivities in style.

Avinash & Vaishnavi’s Wedding at Grand Hyatt Goa

Avinash & Vaishnavi’s Wedding at Grand Hyatt Goa

Avinash & Vaishnavi’s Wedding at Grand Hyatt Goa

Avinash &  Vaishnavi’s destination wedding at Grand Hyatt Goa will give all people major couple goals to dream of for many years to come. They chose one of the top exotic locations in India: Grand Hyatt Goa. Their wedding is just as fun and breathtaking as it can get. The viral reel on our Instagram is a testament to that!

Destination Weddings are our favourites to shoot as they offer great backgrounds, scenic locale, and large outdoor venues replete with lots of fun and frolic. At the same time, they are very challenging both physically and mentally. In the end, the breathtaking photos and films make it all the more worthwhile. Avinash and Vaishnavi are both doctors by profession and had their hearts set on having an enchanting wedding by the beach, so they decided on Grand Hyatt as the venue for their big day. What they loved about the property was the lush green lawns with a view of Bambolim Bay. We had the good fortune of shooting Vaishnavi’s friend Sanjana’s wedding and that is how she found us. In her words, she absolutely fell in love with their photographs.

The story of how they met is just as interesting as their wedding. When Vaishnavi got her residency, Avinash happened to be her senior at Medical College in Pune. It all started with Vaishnavi looking to speak to a senior to get information about the college and get a sense of how the program is going to help her. She found Avinash’s contact through a mutual friend and she had a few queries about the residency, but he gave a little sass and told her to call him later. However, after that one phone call that evening, they both felt a spark between them. Just to get her mentored under him in the same program he bribed the clerk and it worked! Fate played a huge role in their love story and now they are married!

We had a fabulous time capturing moments of this beautiful Gujarati and Marwadi wedding.

Their two-day destination wedding saw a series of events:

Day 1

It started with a Welcome lunch & Mehendi in the beautiful lush lawns of the property. The Vibrant decor of the venue set the mood for the celebrations. It was adorned in yellow and pink drapes along with bright flowers. Vaishnavi wore a beautiful forest green lehenga by Debyani and co. The couple entered in a cycle rickshaw and then waltzed their way through the crowd.

Later, that evening the Ring Ceremony and Sangeet took place in one of the indoor ballrooms. Avinash and Vaishnavi looked picture-perfect walking hand in hand. She was all decked up in a navy blue sequined lehenga by Mishru and he cleaned well well in an all-black sherwani. They made their way through the crowd, dancing and smiling their hearts out. On stage, after the couple exchanged rings, the night was marked by a lot of lively dance performances by the friends and family of the couple. They themselves put on a fantastic show for the crowd. The highlight of the evening was a special singing performance by Avinash. Then for the rest of the night, the party continued on with all the liquid courage in their system and the DJ Vency Coutinho whipping out beats and keeping the party alive.

Day 2

Bhaat & Telbaan was a more traditional event for Avinash. After all the rituals were performed they followed it up with Brunch. It was a carnival for adults with fun games, a tarot card reader where most people queued up for and drinks to jive to the music. Vaishnavi wore a sequined white sharara by Payal Singhai. The couple greeted everyone on their way in and played a few games before heading back to their rooms to get ready for their big day.

We witnessed a beautiful Gujrati sundowner Wedding in Goa- they had all the elements of a fairytale wedding infused with traditions. The mandap was the real showstopper, set against the gorgeous backdrop of the setting sun with a mirrored walkway leading to it, and was decorated with white and red flowers. Vaishnavi looked absolutely beautiful in a mustard gold lehenga by Rimple & Harpreet, paired with gold and Kundan jewellery and a minimal look by Nilofer Merchant. Her radiant smile completed the entire look.

Avinash entered his Baraat in a vintage car, dancing to the dhol beats followed by his gang of boys by his side. Vaishnavi’s bridesmaids lead her to the Varmaala stage with ‘Tere hi Hum’  playing in the background. It was such as emotional moment for both of them as this was the first concert they attended together and this song holds a huge significance in their hearts. Soon after that, they got married following a traditional Gujrati ceremony. The love and chemistry shared between them were evident as you can see in the photos making them a photographer’s delight. The fireworks at the end were a magical sight to behold, signifying the end of a special day.

Destination Wedding at Southern Palms in Kenya

Destination Wedding at Southern Palms in Kenya

Destination Wedding at Southern Palms in Kenya

Mona and Imran’s dreamy destination wedding still gives us all the feels! They got married in Southern Palms, Kenya which sits at the edge of the Indian Ocean on the gorgeous, renowned Diani Beach where the white sand and blue skies played a huge role in these swoon-worthy photos! We were so happy to be a part of their stunning, crazy, three-day-long party with close family and friends coming from afar to celebrate this special occasion.

Have a look at this amazing film before you read on –

Check out Naiya & Darshan’s wedding we covered in Kenya as well!

Day 1

Their Pre Wedding was just as beautiful as the country and the couple we were shooting. We got a couple of dreamy shots of them walking along the shores of Diani Beach and course a couple of fun playful shots!

Mehendi Ceremony was a chill event with Mona getting her hands designed and people gathering around for dinner.

Day 2

Imran’s Dirty Pithi Ceremony was an affair that we couldn’t have even imagined. His friends and family threw water at him, emptied bottles of ketchup and mustard, and broke eggs on his head! Then he went for a dip in the water to get rid of the pantry items on his body!

Mandvo & Pithi was a more formal ceremony where their close ones congratulated them and gave their blessings.

Sangeet was a memorable affair with incredible performances by the family followed by more dancing throughout the night. For Imran’s performance he came sporting a colourful vest flaunting his 6 pack abs and dazzled everyone with his moves. The rest of the night was so much fun that we found ourselves grooving to the beat and tapping our feet while shooting!

Day 3

Mona’s bridesmaid’s were the cutest! After helping her get ready, we got beautiful portraits of Mona and her nice moment of Imran and his father getting ready for the big day ahead. Their wedding venue set against the backdrop of the ocean with white roses was truly beautiful. After their Nikkah got over, the smiles on their faces were ever so bright. The joy radiating off both their faces was apparent as you can see!

Later that day in the evening, the couple made their entry with a bang towards the Reception where the celebrations continued with a cake cutting, the first dance by the couple, speeches from the family and a father-daughter dance. The party went on till dawn with people drinking and dancing the night away.
