Avinash & Vaishnavi’s Wedding at Grand Hyatt Goa

Avinash &  Vaishnavi’s destination wedding at Grand Hyatt Goa will give all people major couple goals to dream of for many years to come. They chose one of the top exotic locations in India: Grand Hyatt Goa. Their wedding is just as fun and breathtaking as it can get. The viral reel on our Instagram is a testament to that!

Destination Weddings are our favorites to shoot as they offer great backgrounds, scenic locale, and large outdoor venues replete with lots of fun and frolic. At the same time, they are very challenging both physically and mentally. In the end, the breathtaking photos and films make it all the more worthwhile. Avinash and Vaishnavi are both doctors by profession and had their hearts set on having an enchanting wedding by the beach, so they decided on Grand Hyatt as the venue for their big day. What they loved about the property was the lush green lawns with a view of Bambolim Bay. We had the good fortune of shooting Vaishnavi’s friend Sanjana’s wedding and that is how she found us. In her words, she absolutely fell in love with their photographs.

The story of how they met is just as interesting as their wedding. When Vaishnavi got her residency, Avinash happened to be her senior at Medical college in Pune. It all started with Vaishnavi looking to speak to a senior to get information about the college and get a sense of how the program is going to help her. She found Avinash’s contact through a mutual friend and she had a few queries about the residency, but he gave a little sass and told her to call him later. However, after that one phone call that evening, they both felt a spark between them. Just to get her mentored under him in the same program he bribed the clerk and it worked! Fate played a huge role in their love story and now they are married!

We had a fabulous time capturing moments of this beautiful Gujrati and Marwadi wedding. Their two-day destination wedding saw a series of events:

Day 1

It started with a Welcome lunch & Mehendi in the beautiful lush lawns of the property. The Vibrant decor of the venue set the mood for the celebrations. It was adorned in yellow and pink drapes along with bright flowers. Vaishnavi wore a beautiful forest green lehenga by Debyani and co. The couple entered in a cycle rickshaw and then waltzed their way through the crowd.

Later, that evening the Ring Ceremony and Sangeet took place in one of the indoor ballrooms. Avinash and Vaishnavi looked picture-perfect walking hand in hand. She was all decked up in a navy blue sequined lehenga by Mishru and he cleaned well well in an all-black sherwani. They made their way through the crowd, dancing and smiling their hearts out. On stage, after the couple exchanged rings, the night was marked by a lot of lively dance performances by the friends and family of the couple. They themselves put on a fantastic show for the crowd. The highlight of the evening was a special singing performance by Avinash. Then for the rest of the night, the party continued on with all the liquid courage in their system and the DJ Vency Coutinho whipping out beats and keeping the party alive.

Day 2

Bhaat & Telbaan was a more traditional event for Avinash. After all the rituals were performed they followed it up with Brunch. It was a carnival for adults with fun games, a tarot card reader where most people queued up for and drinks to jive to the music. Vaishnavi wore a sequined white sharara by Payal Singhai. The couple greeted everyone on their way in and played a few games before heading back to their rooms to get ready for their big day.

We witnessed a beautiful Gujrati sundowner Wedding in Goa- they had all the elements of a fairytale wedding infused with traditions. The mandap was the real showstopper, set against the gorgeous backdrop of the setting sun with a mirrored walkway leading to it, and was decorated with white and red flowers. Vaishnavi looked absolutely beautiful in a mustard gold lehenga by Rimple & Harpreet, paired with gold and Kundan jewellery and a minimal look by Nilofer Merchant. Her radiant smile completed the entire look.

Avinash entered his Baraat in a vintage car, dancing to the dhol beats followed by his gang of boys by his side. Vaishnavi’s bridesmaids lead her to the Varmaala stage with ‘Tere hi Hum’  playing in the background. It was such as emotional moment for both of them as this was the first concert they attended together and this song holds a huge significance in their hearts. Soon after that, they got married following a traditional Gujrati ceremony. The love and chemistry shared between them were evident as you can see in the photos making them a photographer’s delight. The fireworks at the end were a magical sight to behold, signifying the end of a special day.

Destination Wedding at Southern Palms in Kenya

Destination Wedding at Southern Palms in Kenya

Destination Wedding at Southern Palms in Kenya

Mona and Imran’s dreamy destination wedding still gives us all the feels! They got married in Southern Palms, Kenya which sits at the edge of the Indian Ocean on the gorgeous, renowned Diani Beach where the white sand and blue skies played a huge role in these swoon-worthy photos! We were so happy to be a part of their stunning, crazy, three-day-long party with close family and friends coming from afar to celebrate this special occasion.

Check out Naiya & Darshan’s wedding we covered in Kenya as well!

Day 1

Their Pre Wedding was just as beautiful as the country and the couple we were shooting. We got a couple of dreamy shots of them walking along the shores of Diani Beach and course a couple of fun playful shots!

Mehendi Ceremony was a chill event with Mona getting her hands designed and people gathering around for dinner.

Day 2

Imran’s Dirty Pithi Ceremony was an affair that we couldn’t have even imagined. His friends and family threw water at him, emptied bottles of ketchup and mustard, and broke eggs on his head! Then he went for a dip in the water to get rid of the pantry items on his body!

Mandvo & Pithi was a more formal ceremony where their close ones congratulated them and gave their blessings.

Sangeet was a memorable affair with incredible performances by the family followed by more dancing throughout the night. For Imran’s performance he came sporting a colourful vest flaunting his 6 pack abs and dazzled everyone with his moves. The rest of the night was so much fun that we found ourselves grooving to the beat and tapping our feet while shooting!

Day 3

Mona’s bridesmaid’s were the cutest! After helping her get ready, we got beautiful portraits of Mona and her nice moment of Imran and his father getting ready for the big day ahead. Their wedding venue set against the backdrop of the ocean with white roses was truly beautiful. After their Nikkah got over, the smiles on their faces were ever so bright. The joy radiating off both their faces was apparent as you can see!

Later that day in the evening, the couple made their entry with a bang towards the Reception where the celebrations continued with a cake cutting, the first dance by the couple, speeches from the family and a father-daughter dance. The party went on till dawn with people drinking and dancing the night away.

Indo-Dutch Telugu Wedding in Hyderabad

Indo-Dutch Telugu Wedding in Hyderabad

Varun & Sanne’s telugu wedding celebrations were spread across 3 days in various locations all over Hyderabad. South Indian weddings always tend to give the best pictures perhaps because they are filled with color, gorgeous bridal wear, and tons of laughter and love!

The festivities started with a fun Mangal Snanam ceremony at the Groom’s place, where the couple’s close friends and family joined them and showered their love and blessings. The following evening at the gorgeous Hyderabad Polo and Riding Club, the Mehendi ceremony was a fun-filled event where Sanne got her hands intricately decorated, and her father gave a heartwarming speech to congratulate the couple which made them emotional but soon after a few hugs and tears were shared they got the party started. With an open bar and loud music, the crowd didn’t need any more motivation to hit the dance floor and groove the night away.

Sangeet, the next evening was a sundowner to a sunrise event where their close friends and family did a few dance performances, and sang a dutch song on stage that they wrote which bought out hoots and laughter from the couple. Sanne and Varun did a fantastic number to a Telugu song that wowed the crowd.

The Wedding Day showcased Sanne in a Gold Silk Saree adorned with traditional gold jewellery, and Varun colour coordinated with this better half sporting a cream sherwani with gold details. After the formalities of the puja were done, the Varmala took place joyously, and the rice shower ceremony was a fun event with smiles and laughter lighting up the area.

Telugu wedding at Celebrity Resort

Telugu wedding at Celebrity Resort

Telugu wedding at Celebrity Resort

Telugu Weddings in Hyderabad are known for being fun, colorful, and full of grandeur and this wedding at Celebrity Resorts was just that. Telugu Weddings usually go on for a few days as they are packed with many rituals and events. We as photographers love the enthusiasm and participation from eager family members and friends as we capture precious, candid moments that you get to reminisce through photographs. We love covering Telugu weddings, check out some weddings we covered before – Bhagya-Vignesh, Rishika-Lohit, Saket-SriLakshmi

Priyatham and Manaswi had seven events spread across five days and most of the events took place in the tranquil surroundings of Celebrity Resort in Hyderabad. The lush green trees playing host to golden sunrises and sunsets were a treat to our eyes!

Day 1: Haldi

The Haldi ceremony kick-started early in the morning when Manaswi and Priyatham were smeared with yellow turmeric paste, oil, and holy water thereafter, of course, someone found the water hose, and from that instance, the smiles and laughter of their friends and family did not disappear until it was time to shut the water off. It was quite difficult for us to cover the Haldi function with water everywhere and our cameras getting wet. All of us got completely wet by the end of it but the photographs are simply amazing for the event. We always recommend our clients to not to exclude the Haldi function from their wedding coverage, as that is the most fun event in a wedding and even though they hardly need to spend on it, the photographs from Haldi, are absolutely stunning. Don’t believe us? Well, we have proof. Check out this fun reel we put together of our experience shooting the Haldi. Reel on instagram

Mehendi began early for the bride as her hands and legs were ‘tattooed’ with beautiful, intricate designs. Later that day, the live band showed off their skills while the crowd queued at the bar. The party kicked off when Manaswi hit the dance floor and showered us with her wild dance moves which gave everyone the courage to show what they got in store. The alcohol helped a lot!

Day 2: Sangeet

From what we had seen the previous night, we knew their Sangeet would be nothing short of epic. And epic it was! Words do not describe the sheer brilliance we saw on stage. Every single dancer we saw up there was either a friend or a family member.
Priyatham and Manaswi did the classic game of ‘Who’s most likely to’ with their shoes and it was a hilarious game to get to know them better! The bride and groom put on their dancing shoes and did a fun, high-energy number which made everyone go wild and hoots were heard till the end.

Their close friends put together amazing performances which they practiced only a day in advance and yet they managed to pull it off very well.
The bar counter gave everyone liquid courage to hit the dance floor and groove to a lot of high-energy Telugu music. The night ended with everyone walking away with drunk smiles on their faces.

Day 3 : Pellikuthru & Pellikoduku

Pellikuthuru was a joyful blend of traditions and family bonding. Manaswi adorned in a gold and red saree looked stunning as always.

Day 4 : Wedding

Priyatham had an intimate house puja in his family home, where everyone gathered to bless him before the Wedding Ceremony.

Later that day, at dusk, as the couple stood before us, we could see the silent love and chemistry they shared. There was so much to love about this day – from the rituals to Manaswi’s walk onto the mandap, her and Priyatham’s eyes being locked on each other the entire time, and it was only made possible thanks to the amount of respect and love given by the family.  During Talambralu, the couple couldn’t stop smiling as they poured handfuls of rice over each other’s heads.

Vidaai got us feeling all the emotions as it did for Manaswi and her Mother.

Day 5: Reception in Warangal

On the last day, the raging festivities came to an end as the Reception took place in the groom’s hometown in Warangal where a crowd of more than 1500 people had gathered to congratulate the happy couple.

Sienne & Shannon’s dreamy wedding was surely couple goals, and we are still high on the memories that evening brought along with it.

The day started with the couple getting ready in a hotel in Bandra followed by the wedding mass at Peter’s Church. Thereafter the party shifted to Jade Garden, Mumbai.

With an eye for detail, and planning to the T, our bride Sienne married her childhood sweetheart Shannon. They celebrated the wedding festivities with close loved ones and friends who are families. The night saw overwhelming love, dances, toasts and a whole lot of warmth in the breezy April summer.

This one is to Sienne & Shannon, may the light of love always be upon you guys, may the champagne be always bubbly, and may the dance floor always witness your amazing chemistry 🙂

Telugu Wedding at Radisson Blu,Vishakhapatnam

Telugu Wedding at Radisson Blu,Vishakhapatnam

Some things are just meant to be. And some stories are meant to be. That’s the case for Bhagya & Vignesh. They met in college in 2011 and became very close friends. But the real story started when they landed in the same city, New York for their masters. And very soon, their friendship turned into romance. In the summer of 2021, they made things official over an engagement on the yacht in the beautiful landscape of Maui. And they got married in the most beautiful way in a telugu wedding in December 2021 at Radisson Blu, Vishakhapatnam – and we were there!

We have covered a few telugu weddings before ( Lohit- Rishika, Saket – Sri Lakshmi), and we love covering telugu weddings 🙂 Here’s sharing the photo story of three beautiful days spent at the Radisson Blu, Vishakhapatnam with Bhagya & Vig (as Vignesh is fondly called). The first day started with pujas and small rituals at Bhagya’s house in Vizag. The quaint homely setup with garden and greenery around was a treat to the eyes. The setup was totally intimate and beautiful, and we made some great portraits of the couple and both the families.

Later, the next day, the party. shifted to Radisson Blu, Vizag. The next day started with a very vibrant Haldi. Happy yellow faces took over and didn’t spare Bhagya & Vig at all. To which Vig exclaimed “If these are friends, don’t know what would be enemies”. Post the Haldi aftermath, there was an afternoon carnival where everyone dressed up and let their hair down for a fun afternoon. It was followed by dance and bonding with each other.

Everyone waited for the sangeet scheduled later in the evening. Our groom Vig is one talented man, and he stole the show with his band performance. The night saw heart-warming performances and some epic moves. New stories were created, while old friendships were relieved. When you get together with your friends and family post covid, it leads to creating great memories, and that’s what we witnessed here 🙂

The wedding morning started early with Bhagya & Vig getting ready. The south Indian attires, the sounds of nadaswaram, the filter coffee set for a great wedding mood. The wedding was beautiful and mesmerizing. Everything worked in our favor and we have such fond memories. Thank you Bhagya & Vig and both the families for having us, we are so thankful that our paths crossed 🙂
