Telugu-Tamil wedding at Dream Valley Resort, Hyderabad

We had the absolute pleasure of documenting the mesmerizing wedding of Nikhita & Sreekar. The celebrations occurred at the picturesque Dream Valley Resort, providing an attractive backdrop for all the events. From the vibrant Mehendi ceremony to the heartwarming Haldi rituals, culminating in a captivating reception, every moment was a joy to capture. We’ve always loved covering Telugu weddings and here are some of the best experiences we’ve had: Lavanya & RithvikPriyatham & ManaswiBhagya & Vignesh

Nikhita & Sreekar’s wedding festivities commenced with the brisk and breezy Mehendi ceremony, beautifully adorned with shades of pink. Nikhita’s radiant smile, and intricate henna designs, complemented by her exquisite outfit from Taruni Clothing, and Sreekar’s joyous personality, made for some enchanting shots.

As the sun dipped, the couple and their loved ones came together for an unforgettable Sangeet night. The energy was palpable as everyone danced and celebrated in high spirits. Lavanya Reddy, a talented and enthusiastic dancer, had choreographed eye-catching and show-stopper performances for Nikhita & Sreekar.

Day 2 began with the sacred Haldi ceremony, where the couple, with their families and friends, celebrated in hues of yellow. The infectious atmosphere and aura of a Telugu haldi never fail to amaze us and we got to capture some best candid moments. Following the Haldi event, the traditional Pellikuturu ceremony took place.

Excitement was in the air as everyone prepared for the evening’s main event – the wedding. Against the setting of the earthy Dream Valley resort, the couple exchanged vows in an enthralling ceremony, surrounded by loved ones. The venue was transformed into a place of opulence and romance. The theme of the wedding was as such where conventional met contemporary. The graceful mandap with a green, pink, and white palette made a perfect backdrop for the photos and videos alike. Contrasting to the mandap, Nikhita wore a traditional red-gold saree, dressed as a Telugu-Andhra bride whereas Sreekar was dressed in a white Pattu Veshti and shirt as a Tamil groom. The ethereal ensembles by Kanakavalli brought an air of desi splendor to the occasion. The expert touch of Siro Makeup Studio ensured that Nikhita’s natural beauty shone through effortlessly.

The final day of the celebrations, held at Siara Retreat, was marked by a chic and smart reception, with a live clarinet performance adding a touch of sophistication.

We were thrilled to be a part of Nikhita and Sreekar’s alluring wedding journey. The pictures from their wedding truly radiate happiness and grace.

Avinash & Vaishnavi’s Wedding at Grand Hyatt Goa

Avinash & Vaishnavi’s Wedding at Grand Hyatt Goa

Avinash & Vaishnavi’s Wedding at Grand Hyatt Goa

Avinash &  Vaishnavi’s destination wedding at Grand Hyatt Goa will give all people major couple goals to dream of for many years to come. They chose one of the top exotic locations in India: Grand Hyatt Goa. Their wedding is just as fun and breathtaking as it can get. The viral reel on our Instagram is a testament to that!

Destination Weddings are our favourites to shoot as they offer great backgrounds, scenic locale, and large outdoor venues replete with lots of fun and frolic. At the same time, they are very challenging both physically and mentally. In the end, the breathtaking photos and films make it all the more worthwhile. Avinash and Vaishnavi are both doctors by profession and had their hearts set on having an enchanting wedding by the beach, so they decided on Grand Hyatt as the venue for their big day. What they loved about the property was the lush green lawns with a view of Bambolim Bay. We had the good fortune of shooting Vaishnavi’s friend Sanjana’s wedding and that is how she found us. In her words, she absolutely fell in love with their photographs.

The story of how they met is just as interesting as their wedding. When Vaishnavi got her residency, Avinash happened to be her senior at Medical College in Pune. It all started with Vaishnavi looking to speak to a senior to get information about the college and get a sense of how the program is going to help her. She found Avinash’s contact through a mutual friend and she had a few queries about the residency, but he gave a little sass and told her to call him later. However, after that one phone call that evening, they both felt a spark between them. Just to get her mentored under him in the same program he bribed the clerk and it worked! Fate played a huge role in their love story and now they are married!

We had a fabulous time capturing moments of this beautiful Gujarati and Marwadi wedding.

Their two-day destination wedding saw a series of events:

Day 1

It started with a Welcome lunch & Mehendi in the beautiful lush lawns of the property. The Vibrant decor of the venue set the mood for the celebrations. It was adorned in yellow and pink drapes along with bright flowers. Vaishnavi wore a beautiful forest green lehenga by Debyani and co. The couple entered in a cycle rickshaw and then waltzed their way through the crowd.

Later, that evening the Ring Ceremony and Sangeet took place in one of the indoor ballrooms. Avinash and Vaishnavi looked picture-perfect walking hand in hand. She was all decked up in a navy blue sequined lehenga by Mishru and he cleaned well well in an all-black sherwani. They made their way through the crowd, dancing and smiling their hearts out. On stage, after the couple exchanged rings, the night was marked by a lot of lively dance performances by the friends and family of the couple. They themselves put on a fantastic show for the crowd. The highlight of the evening was a special singing performance by Avinash. Then for the rest of the night, the party continued on with all the liquid courage in their system and the DJ Vency Coutinho whipping out beats and keeping the party alive.

Day 2

Bhaat & Telbaan was a more traditional event for Avinash. After all the rituals were performed they followed it up with Brunch. It was a carnival for adults with fun games, a tarot card reader where most people queued up for and drinks to jive to the music. Vaishnavi wore a sequined white sharara by Payal Singhai. The couple greeted everyone on their way in and played a few games before heading back to their rooms to get ready for their big day.

We witnessed a beautiful Gujrati sundowner Wedding in Goa- they had all the elements of a fairytale wedding infused with traditions. The mandap was the real showstopper, set against the gorgeous backdrop of the setting sun with a mirrored walkway leading to it, and was decorated with white and red flowers. Vaishnavi looked absolutely beautiful in a mustard gold lehenga by Rimple & Harpreet, paired with gold and Kundan jewellery and a minimal look by Nilofer Merchant. Her radiant smile completed the entire look.

Avinash entered his Baraat in a vintage car, dancing to the dhol beats followed by his gang of boys by his side. Vaishnavi’s bridesmaids lead her to the Varmaala stage with ‘Tere hi Hum’  playing in the background. It was such as emotional moment for both of them as this was the first concert they attended together and this song holds a huge significance in their hearts. Soon after that, they got married following a traditional Gujrati ceremony. The love and chemistry shared between them were evident as you can see in the photos making them a photographer’s delight. The fireworks at the end were a magical sight to behold, signifying the end of a special day.

Grand Wedding at Noor-Us-Sabah Palace in Bhopal

Grand Wedding at Noor-Us-Sabah Palace in Bhopal

Grand Wedding at Noor-Us-Sabah Palace in Bhopal

India is a land of cultural diversity and so are its marriages. If Punjabi weddings are considered loud then Tamil weddings are simple and serene. Gujarati weddings are filled with traditional rituals and Christian weddings are modern and fun-filled. When two cultures come together and celebrate, it can only be fun and lively. Let us show you what happens when North weds South!

The Finance Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mr. Jagdish Devda, had his son’s grand wedding with all pomp and show in the tranquil surroundings of a residential palace.

Ashmita and Harsh’s wedding celebrations were magical and spread over three days in Noor-us-Sabah, Bhopal which is perched on a hillock with a commanding view of the lake. It’s a world apart from the busy streets of Bhopal!

Day 1-

Mayra & Sajjan Goth

Harsh’s mother greets Ashmita’s extended family, who arrives with much fanfare with the traditional welcome. They come bearing gifts, signifying their love and blessings to the groom. Later, the families are seen enjoying a sit-down ‘Sajjan Goth’ with delicious food.

Engagement

Taj Lakefront, Bhopal this surreal, opulent, and majestic property hosted the Engagement. Ashmita taking full advantage of nature’s magic hour gave us all the fabulous portraits we needed to gush over!

Her band of boys join her and enjoy the beautiful sunset.

The rest of the night was spent enjoying the rest of the evening.

Day 2

Haldi

This wasn’t a traditional Haldi at all! No tumeric was to be seen and neither was pales of water.

Ashmita had her girls wear matching outfits and did they slay? Yes, they did!

Sangeet

The bride and groom made heads turn as they made their way through the crowd. Their friends and family showed a little swag on stage for Ashmita and Harsh! Ashmita looked striking in her golden embellished lehenga as she danced for Harsh.

Everyone hooted as Swaroop Khan sauntered on stage. The audience escorted themselves to the dance floor to enjoy his stately music.

Day 3

Wedding

The morning started with Ashmita and Harsh getting ready with the help of their closest friends and family.

Harsh’s baraat was kicked off by his close friends and his family members danced their way to the wedding ceremony.

Reception

Later that evening, they hosted their lavish reception on the property’s lush outdoor grounds. The Chief Minister of Bhopal, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, made a brief appearance to congratulate the happy couple.

Jyotiraditya Scindia, the minister of Civil Aviation, Digvijaya Singh, the ex-chief minister of MP, and Ramji Lal Saman, a former Union Minister were also present to give their regards.

The rest of the evening was filled with love, laughter, and of course delicious food.

Telugu Wedding at Radisson Blu,Vishakhapatnam

Telugu Wedding at Radisson Blu,Vishakhapatnam

Telugu Wedding at Radisson Blu,Vishakhapatnam

Some things are just meant to be. And some stories are meant to be. That’s the case for Bhagya & Vignesh. They met in college in 2011 and became very close friends. But the real story started when they landed in the same city, New York for their masters. And very soon, their friendship turned into romance. In the summer of 2021, they made things official over an engagement on the yacht in the beautiful landscape of Maui. And they got married in the most beautiful way in a telugu wedding in December 2021 at Radisson Blu, Vishakhapatnam – and we were there!

We have covered a few telugu weddings before ( Lohit- Rishika, Saket – Sri Lakshmi), and we love covering telugu weddings 🙂 Here’s sharing the photo story of three beautiful days spent at the Radisson Blu, Vishakhapatnam with Bhagya & Vig (as Vignesh is fondly called). The first day started with pujas and small rituals at Bhagya’s house in Vizag. The quaint homely setup with garden and greenery around was a treat to the eyes. The setup was totally intimate and beautiful, and we made some great portraits of the couple and both the families.

Later, the next day, the party. shifted to Radisson Blu, Vizag. The next day started with a very vibrant Haldi. Happy yellow faces took over and didn’t spare Bhagya & Vig at all. To which Vig exclaimed “If these are friends, don’t know what would be enemies”. Post the Haldi aftermath, there was an afternoon carnival where everyone dressed up and let their hair down for a fun afternoon. It was followed by dance and bonding with each other.

Everyone waited for the sangeet scheduled later in the evening. Our groom Vig is one talented man, and he stole the show with his band performance. The night saw heart-warming performances and some epic moves. New stories were created, while old friendships were relieved. When you get together with your friends and family post covid, it leads to creating great memories, and that’s what we witnessed here 🙂

The wedding morning started early with Bhagya & Vig getting ready. The south Indian attires, the sounds of nadaswaram, the filter coffee set for a great wedding mood. The wedding was beautiful and mesmerizing. Everything worked in our favor and we have such fond memories. Thank you Bhagya & Vig and both the families for having us, we are so thankful that our paths crossed 🙂

Two States Wedding at J W Mariott, Mussorie

A magical wedding story from the beautiful mountains, this wedding is incredibly special and close to our hearts.

Devyani & Siva’s wedding in the hills of Mussorie at JW Mariott was a beautiful celebration of their love. From meeting first time at Mastercard office in US and taking a leap of faith for love, their journey has been nothing short of magical. They are such fun loving souls, that it feels like a party always around them. Before you head to the photos, immerse in their soulful wedding film  – Leap of Love.

The wedding happened in two styles – North Indian & Telegu in freezing November Winter, but the happiness, fun and endless laughter and smiles made it really warm to capture these beautiful stories 🙂

P.S – Their getting ready photo also won the Runner Up Award in the “Getting Ready” category of Weddingsutra Awards 2020

Royal Palace Wedding at Bal Samand Lake Palace, Jodhpur

Royal Palace Wedding at Bal Samand Lake Palace, Jodhpur

Royal Palace Wedding at Bal Samand Lake Palace, Jodhpur

“Jodhpur, a stunning little town in Rajasthan which I get to call home, is full of old world charm and regality. It was the easiest thing in the world to decide that this would be our wedding destination. We fell in love with The Bal Samand Lake Palace and it’s sprawling lawns, incredible heritage and the warm Rajasthani hospitality.
– Richa

As aptly described by our dearest bride, we couldn’t help but agree to each and every thing. Before, we start with the wedding story of Abhilash & Richa, we feel this visual tour of the Bal Samand Lake Palace is essential. So here you go!

Abhilash, a fellow Bitsian got in touch with Anupam about an year ago for his wedding. However, post the initial talks there was a long gap, due to busy schedules and stuff. The talks resurfaced as both of them met at another bitsian wedding (Krishna-Akanksha) at Bangalore. Thereafter, things moved pretty fast from there and very soon we were booked to shoot their royal palace wedding at Bal Samand Lake Palace, Jodhpur.

Over stories of sky diving in Spain, crazy BITSian escapades, quick little coffee meets turned into the most incredible first date, recounts Richa. Whereas Abhilash has been a firm believer of destiny, and says he always knew this was meant to be. And ofcourse, this is meant forever, and in a total dream-come-true way at the royal Bal samand Lake Palace, Jodhpur. With a North (Richa) meets South (Abhilash) wedding & friends and family coming in from all over the world, they wanted their wedding weekend to be an experience that let their families getting to know each other well, and most importantly, letting them spend time with their closest people. That’s why the focus was on being an easy going wedding, and not being tied down with too many processes. There were three major functions – Cocktail, Haldi & the Wedding, each dreamy & beautiful in their own way.

Cocktail – The Bride & Groom got ready at the Bal Samand Lake Palace. We quickly made some couple portraits. And then the party shifted to Ranbanka Palace, Jodhpur, with friends & family rejoicing in happiness.

Haldi – Haldi is clearly the most fun event in a wedding and Abhilash & Richa’s families & friends ensured they weren’t spared with any shortage of haldi on them. The result you get to see in the photographs. What also followed was a after party dance, lighting all the mood before the evening wedding.

Wedding – One word – Dreamy! It started with us capturing the wedding details. The Bal Samand Palace is rich & green with flora & fauna, and served as a stunning backdrop. Before the sun got down, Richa got ready in her stunning Dabka Dori ensemble and we got some stunning portraits. A tip to all future brides – Get ready before the sun sets for your evening wedding & you will be overjoyed to see the outcome in the photographs. There were fireworks as the jaimal happened & the wedding happened late evening under the stunning dreamy light decor. Credits to R19 Entertainment for the fabulous decor.

Lastly, if you plan on a destination wedding, here are some tips from our couple, Abhilash & Richa –

  1. Start Planning Early.
  2. Be involved in planning your wedding
  3. Involve your close friends & family
  4. Most importantly, have fun. The madness can get to you but you will miss it when its done.

Weddings are a proof that happiness is possible if you create it with all your hearts & love, and that’s what we have to say for this wedding. It was absolutely magical, and even days after getting back from Jodhpur, we were hungover with this palace wedding. Thank you Richa & Abhilash for being so warm and letting us document your special memories!
