Offbeat Pre-Wedding Shoot in Mumbai

We are sure you will find this pre-wedding shoot unusual and different from what you may have seen so far.  Well, if not entirely then in a great measure this was the first time we shot an intimate pre-wedding shoot. As couples increasingly look to do something different from the rest, they are ready to get out of their comfort zone and try new ideas. We feel the best way to do something is different is to personalise the shoot by letting the photographs depict your personality and story.

Omkar & Punita wanted an unusual and different pre-wedding shoot from the beginning. We brainstormed on many ideas ranging from basing it on their personality, shooting it entirely in a studio to even an intimate boudoir shoot. What finally we ended up doing was a mix of the usual to unusual. Hence photographs reflect their chemistry at Mumbai’s iconic Gateway of India, a comic re-enactment of how they met through their mutual friend – Pranav, their first kiss in a Kaali-Peeli and finally an intimate shoot in a beautiful property – Seven Sands Villa, in Lonavala which culminated with a re-staging of Tip Tip Barsa Pani from the movie Mohra. Location for the second half the pre-wedding was Seven-Sands Villa in Lonavala. Thanks to Vishal and Mrinal and their hospitality we had a hassle free shooting experience at their property.

We dont know about you, but we do believe in fairytales and cliches, that bring out the love story of the couple. Azra & Murtuza’s story, right from meeting each other for the first time to deciding they were made for each other and taking it to the holy vows, was indeed a “fairytale”

They wanted a dreamy location for their Pre-wedding shoot, without compromising the connection with the place where they first met! The City of dreams – Mumbai met the deal perfectly! Exploring the architectural beauty of Gateway of India, the sparkling ocean, the bobbing boats in the waters and the flying wonders made way for some stunning pictures! Its always been a pleasure shooting here in The Maximum City

Dating each other since a decade, knowing each other in and out, they still have those cute moments of immense love and intense playfulness. Re-creating some of their favorite memories and never shying away from trying new things, we had a ball in Lavasa, where we shot their pre-wedding. Exploring the coloured walls, strolling the streets in a cycle and lighting up their smiles in the night, each frame has a story from that crazy day. Ishita ensured our energy were restored from time to time with tea breaks and small stories.

Pre-Wedding in Warangal

14th August, 2014 has been etched in history as the day when two people celebrated their love by tying the knot and vowed to be together forever. Rakesh a fellow BITSian and Bhanu a gem of a girl with a contagious laugh who will soon grace Google’s office, saw each other in a wedding and lost their heart to each other. This is a story of naughty Harshini and sweet Rakesh. A day before their marriage on the day of Sangeet we got 1 hour to shoot Rakesh and Harshini at Fort Warangal. With constant calls of panic from parents exhorting to leave everything and come back we stole few beautiful moments and framed them forever for Rakesh & Harshini. In that one hour we had to do a couple photoshoot and some beautiful footages for the wedding film. It will soon follow. Meanwhile cherish some photographs!
