Saket Myneni Sri Lakshmi – International Tennis Player Saket Myneni’s Telugu Wedding in Vijaywada

We covered Saket & Sri Lakshmi’s wedding in December 2016. Indian Tennis Star, Saket Myneni has been conferred with the prestigious Arjuna Award in 2017 and represents India in Davis Cup. He won a Gold medal in Mixed doubles and a Silver medal in Men’s doubles event at Incheon Asian Games 2014.

When Saket proposed Sri Lakshmi over official Davis Cup dinner, it created headlines. And, then it was all about their wedding at Vijaywada and reception at Vishakhapatnam. It was absolutely thrilling to see how much they enjoyed throughout all the wedding rituals. The smiles didn’t stop, and we are ever grateful to Saket & Lakshmi for giving us the front seat to their wedding festivities. The shoot was led by our lead photographer Anupam Maurya and their wedding ceremonies were both intimate & totally heart-warming.

Kaushik and Priyanka fondly known as PeeKay, evident from their wedding hashtag, are two fun loving people who live life to the fullest. 8 years ago when they first met in college, no one knew they would be married one day. Their friendship stood the test of times of long-distances and they eventually realised was love. Partners in crime, their love flourished on lots of food and fun. When it finally came to getting down on his knees to propose, Kaushik actually forgot his lines but fortunately she said Yes, albeit reluctantly. Their wedding was a 4 day grand extravaganza spread across some of the finest locations in Mumbai – Tote at Mumbai Racecourse, Blue Sea at Worli, Escobar in Bandra, The Club in Andheri, Mayfair in Worli and Thacker’s on Marine Drive. And a total celebration of a crazy & beautiful love story!

Offbeat Pre-Wedding Shoot in Mumbai

We are sure you will find this pre-wedding shoot unusual and different from what you may have seen so far.  Well, if not entirely then in a great measure this was the first time we shot an intimate pre-wedding shoot. As couples increasingly look to do something different from the rest, they are ready to get out of their comfort zone and try new ideas. We feel the best way to do something is different is to personalise the shoot by letting the photographs depict your personality and story. 

Omkar & Punita wanted an unusual and different pre-wedding shoot from the beginning. We brainstormed on many ideas ranging from basing it on their personality, shooting it entirely in a studio to even an intimate boudoir shoot. What finally we ended up doing was a mix of the usual to unusual. Hence photographs reflect their chemistry at Mumbai’s iconic Gateway of India, a comic re-enactment of how they met through their mutual friend – Pranav, their first kiss in a Kaali-Peeli and finally an intimate shoot in a beautiful property – Seven Sands Villa, in Lonavala which culminated with a re-staging of Tip Tip Barsa Pani from the movie Mohra. Location for the second half the pre-wedding was Seven-Sands Villa in Lonavala. Thanks to Vishal and Mrinal and their hospitality we had a hassle free shooting experience at their property.

North Indian Wedding in Mumbai

In our wedding photography career, we have never found any two weddings similar. Its always that the people & the circumstances, which blends in together and makes for a different experience each time. Sometimes, its also about challenges. 

Aditi & Vikas’s wedding in Mumbai was a beautiful affair which lasted for 3 days. The wedding festivities started with the cocktail, mehendi & sangeet and ended with the wedding in north indian style. The bubbly bride Aditi was sporty enough to try out whatever suggestions we had, and it was so much fun to shoot her. However, the major challenge for us was to capture her wedding due to the heavy rains on the day of her wedding on 4 December, 2017. But the show went on despite the rains. As Aditi got ready at MAC studio in Juhu, she kept on taking updates on the rain. The baraat fun didn’t stop with the downpour. A salute to the spirit of bride and groom’s families and all the guests involved. But moreover you have to see how happy the bride was, despite all the arrangements and decoration going haywire.
