Two Weddings – Four Days of Fun, Dance, Joys & Happiness!

Karan & Sonia’s wedding celebrations had two weddings and four days of celebrations – and we loved being a part of it. This is a christian maharashtrian wedding we covered 🙂

The wedding festivities kicked off by a light-hearted meet and greet event at Kino’s Cottage celebrating Sonia’s malayalam roots in style, a vibrant welcome party kicked off the festivities. The evening saw some performances and soon it broke into a quick after-party. The next day was the catholic wedding which happened at the Francis Church. The day started with Karan & Sonia getting ready at their respective houses. We witnessed moments, with so much peace and calmness at the church. However, things soon turned crazy at the evening reception. And the evening saw dances, toasts, wedding march and some great food spread.

A week later, the maharashtrian wedding was planned. The first day of the maharashtrian wedding celebrations saw the sangeet. Karan & Sonia made a grand entry, which was beautiful and stunning. Further, their dance performances made the crowd go tottaly in awe of them. Later, the party went on till the wee hours of the night making people come to their true elements.  The wedding day started early, and saw décor in a palette of lavender that lit up the lush greenery of Taj Lands End Mumbai. Check out our other weddings covered at Taj Lands End (Vishesh-Dhvani, Sanjana – Rahul, Mugdhaa-Devam). Sonia wore a purple navari and looked gorgeous in every way, while Karan wore a serene blend of white and blush. Their day wedding was beautiful and dreamy in every way, and would give you serious wedding goals.

It was our absolute pleasure to work with Sonia & Karan. We spoke for the first time over a zoom call, and had a great rapport. Over a few more zoom calls, the decision was made. And these guys had us on-board with almost nine months left for the wedding. We always aim at forming lasting relationships with our couples and families, and that exactly happened in their case. Along with our beautiful couple, both the families were super warm and enthusiastic, and made the wedding totally memorable.

Some things are just meant to be. And some stories are meant to be. That’s the case for Bhagya & Vignesh. They met in college in 2011 and became very close friends. But the real story started when they landed in the same city, New York for their masters. And very soon, their friendship turned into romance. In the summer of 2021, they made things official over an engagement on the yacht in the beautiful landscape of Maui. And they got married in the most beautiful way in a telugu wedding in December 2021 at Radisson Blu, Vishakhapatnam – and we were there!

We have covered a few telugu weddings before ( Lohit- Rishika, Saket – Sri Lakshmi), and we love covering telugu weddings 🙂 Here’s sharing the photo story of three beautiful days spent at the Radisson Blu, Vishakhapatnam with Bhagya & Vig (as Vignesh is fondly called). The first day started with pujas and small rituals at Bhagya’s house in Vizag. The quaint homely setup with garden and greenery around was a treat to the eyes. The setup was totally intimate and beautiful, and we made some great portraits of the couple and both the families.

Later, the next day, the party. shifted to Radisson Blu, Vizag. The next day started with a very vibrant Haldi. Happy yellow faces took over and didn’t spare Bhagya & Vig at all. To which Vig exclaimed “If these are friends, don’t know what would be enemies”. Post the Haldi aftermath, there was an afternoon carnival where everyone dressed up and let their hair down for a fun afternoon. It was followed by dance and bonding with each other.

Everyone waited for the sangeet scheduled later in the evening. Our groom Vig is one talented man, and he stole the show with his band performance. The night saw heart-warming performances and some epic moves. New stories were created, while old friendships were relieved. When you get together with your friends and family post covid, it leads to creating great memories, and that’s what we witnessed here 🙂

The wedding morning started early with Bhagya & Vig getting ready. The south Indian attires, the sounds of nadaswaram, the filter coffee set for a great wedding mood. The wedding was beautiful and mesmerizing. Everything worked in our favor and we have such fond memories. Thank you Bhagya & Vig and both the families for having us, we are so thankful that our paths crossed 🙂

College besties Karishma & Bhanu tied the knot before their friends and families in an intimate celebration at Karishma’s hometown in Pune.

The festivities started at The Market with vibrant decor and upbeat Bollywood music. The couple entered dancing to the beats of live Dholwalas even as their loved ones cheered them on. The lively function was the perfect ice-breaker for the two families to meet and mingle before prepping up for the upcoming revelries.

The sundowner Sangeet was hosted at Mix@36. Cheered on by their loved ones, the couple’s ring exchange was followed by great revelry that included performances, dancing, music, and cocktails. The décor was kept breezy and elegant with lights and pastel colors. This was followed by a vibrant haldi.

In amazing colors of white and pink, the wedding was hosted at the rooftop venue of The Lounge at dusk with gorgeous views of the river overlooking the city. A rocking baraat kickstarted the wedding procession leading up to the ceremony, where the couple exchanged their vows under a stunning mandap with a cascading canopy of pink blooms. The decor beautifully matched the bride and groom’s wedding outfits. Now its time to go through their beautiful film and wedding photos.

Jennifer & Suraj met in college and they had an instant connection. From hanging out to making many plans, Suraj & Jennifer were inseparable. But like every couple goes through a test, they went through the test of long distance, but they persevered and made things work. Their story runs a decade long. And on their tenth proposal anniversary, they took their forever vows. And it was a beautiful affair at Hilton, Mumbai.

The wedding happened as per two traditions- Malayali Temple Wedding and Christian White Wedding. They took their vows by the pool at Hilton, Mumbai. The intimate wedding resulted in making way for several heartfelt moments between the couple, their family and friends, overwhelmed with all the love that Suraj & Jennifer have for each other. And of course making way for a very fun after party where they let everything loose. Happening at a time when the world was stuck with covid, this wedding was a refreshing delight! For Kinshuk and Drishti it was their parents who played cupid and introduced them to each other. From the first meeting, they felt an instant connection that soon turned into a conviction that they were meant for each, following which, there was no looking back! They decided to host their wedding in their home city at Saya Grand Club & Spa Resort, most of which they planned themselves with the help of their families. Initially they were supposed to get married in December 2020, but the wedding got pushed to February 2021, thanks to Covid!

The two days of wedding festivities kicked off Celebrating Kinshuk’s South Indian heritage in style, a vibrant welcome party kicked off the festivities.  A colorful hi-tea and Mehndi ceremony followed, which was replete with a lively décor of flowers in bright shades of orange and pink. The joyous occasion saw sunlit revelries of music and dance. A tunnel of string lights welcomed everyone to the Bollywood themed Sangeet night. The sangeet also marked energetic performances by Gurdeep Mehendi. Magical lights and groovy music added magic to the night as the couple and their families set fire to the stage with their moves, dancing till the wee hours of the morning.

Drishti donned the quintessential red and looked gorgeous in every way, while Kinshuk wore a serene blend of white and blush. Drishti’s bridal entry had all our hearts. Their day wedding was beautiful and dreamy in every way, and would give you serious wedding goals. Kinshuk & Drishti’s effortless chemistry made this wedding even more special, and we loved documenting every bit of their stories.
